Working together as a team is vital in event organizing: The entire team must be going in the same direction, and everyone has to do their part.
First, there needs to be a vision. Then the right team and the right partners.
“Staying true to the vision is my most important task,” says the Event Director, Helinä Piik. “And I need to take care ot the team, especially during the last couple of weeks before we go live. Ultimately, events are about people coming together and creating something magical together.”
Organizing high-end events is about attention to detail and the understanding that long hours need to be put in.
“What I always say,” Helinä laughs, “is that for an event organizer, the most important skill is the ability to improvise with confidence!”
