At Golf for a Better World, we support development and growth through investments and business. We believe in meaningful giving and long-term commitment.
During Golf for Kenya, we will raise funds to give a huge boost to the health sector of Kenya. Participants and sponsors will pool funds for the prize fund for the Health Meets Tech Application Challenge Kenya.
At some point of our lives, health issues and the need for healthcare services apply to all of us, or of those close to us. Boosting the sector is key to developing the nation’s healthcare services, products and access to them.
The Health Meets Tech Application Challenge Kenya brings together existing health tech startups and new teams (with a mix of health and tech professionals) to create, develop and pitch viable technological solutions to improve health outcomes for the average Kenyan. Solutions judged to be viable and promising will be supported with prizes and mentoring to improve clinical viability, exposure, and market adoption.
Final participants will be selected by a working committee made up of representatives from the sponsors and key partners. Up to 50 participants are expected to participate in the challenge.
The final challenge is organized in Nairobi in late March.
The Pan-African initiative is supported by EpiAfric, iHub and Facebook.
